Today I am lurking online and shirking from real work. In fact, I can make this work. I'm really researching the reality of promise held out to us from the 'other' world – Pete and I are keen to live in a dream place with work being an online affair.
Not too messy! And, you can just go off (-line) when the need arises. Luv the privacy. Luv the quiet. My chinese orchestra music doesn't annoy anyone and I don't have to wear headphones.
So I really want to know if blogs are where its at. I have tapped into a few here and there like Brett Steenburger on trading (that's for Pete's TradingLounge work) and designsponge (that's for me). I'd love to know if you think either of these are useful? Most of the blokes go for trading. If women are looking for men out there, try a trading workshop! I actually spent a day online after going to designsponge. Because I'm a lover of all beautiful things.
Actually I have a design prob at the moment. I'm searching for a blue and white plate. I want an old one with hand painting. Preferably a round plate, dinner or platter, like the one pictured. If you can help out with a hi res at 30cm wide I'd be grateful.
Just before I go I also have to share my other fave design thing at the moment 'coz it connects things I love most, design and plants: patrick blanc.
